**A 4th Application (Early Spring) is also available!
1) Spring: We use a balanced rate of stabilized nitrogen, weed killer, and our special supplement to get your lawn off to a green start.
2) Mid-Summer: We use a stabilized nitrogen, weed killer, and our special supplement to keep your lawn green and growing even through the hot and dry season!
3) Fall: For the final application of the year, we use a balanced rate of stabilized nitrogen, weed killer, and our special supplement to promote good root growth so your lawn will be the first one green in the following spring!
Q: What is the difference between our Standard and Premium Applications?
A: The difference is in the weed killer. The Standard Application has a generic weed killer in it. This kills dandelions, plantain, thistles, clovers, and other 'easy to control' weeds. The Premium Application covers all the same weeds as the Standard, but it also covers ground ivy (Creeping Charlie), wild violets, and other harder to kill broad-leaf weeds; as well as some undesirable grasses. If you have any other questions about your particular weeds, please call Elly at (701)-775-3758!
Q: What is Stabilized Nitrogen, and why is it better?
A: Stabilized Nitrogen provides long-lasting, consistent delivery of nitrogen to plants, regardless of unpredictable environmental conditions, while minimizing the escape of nitrogen into the air or groundwater. Because nitrogen is held in the soil (in a plant usable form) over a long period of time, stabilized nitrogen products provide consistent feeding, minimal growth surge, and exceptional color and vigor.
Q: Does Stabilized Nitrogen work when it is cold?
A: Yes! Fall feeding and early spring feedings is important for a vigorous turf. Our Stabilized Nitrogen is not dependent on temperature and readily dissolves into the soil with moisture to provide nitrogen when the plant needs it, regardless of the season.
